Unicorn Family Business Meeting Mitchell Building Winston-Salem, NC

 

Every Monday morning Nora, Emily and Chris have a Business/Marketing meeting for about two or more hours at Nora's office. This was what they encountered on arrival this morning. Emily and Nora's remark? This was their first encounter with the Unicorns. "HOW CUTE!!!" Wait till you have to deal with them 24/7. The fast growing company Unicorn family, consisting currently of Mama April and SEVEN Baby Angel's had already started the meeting with a list of questions and demands. They had our currently not yet revealed, still under construction, new company website up on the computer (PLEASE DON'T LOOK, IT'S A SECRET) questioning where they were represented on the site suggesting that there should be a Unicorn represented on every page. What about on the wall, there are NO pictures of us like this cute little girl. Our name isn't on the door. When will our business cards arrive. Oh, this Monster Free Guarantee Certificate for the Mitchell Building, is that THIS building? You are aware that no Monsters are ever where a Unicorn has been, FOREVER. Aren't me going to now be on all of your inspections? It should say Monster Free Guaranteed by Unicorns with all of our pictures. Get with the plan, you either have Unicorns or you don't. We noted Chris working on commission sheets at 4 AM this morning. We did not observe one single commission sheet with a Unicorns name on it. What is our rate of pay? And on, and on, and on .....

OMG - Adding Unicorns to our company is going to be a challenge. Mama April said she really liked the pink hardhat, where was hers? The babies chimed in WE WANT PURPLE, WE WANT PURPLE. This may have not been a great idea. We will resolve this by distributing one Baby Unicorn Clone to each of our inspectors with instruction to make photos of the Unicorn with explanations of issues of concern they find on their inspections. These will be shared in posts on this blog. If we keep them separated maybe, we can keep them out of trouble. The Unicorns, not the Inspectors although that might not be a bad idea.

Made Nora cry. It isn't difficult to make Nora cry. She can be very emotional, and for good reason. You figure that out as well. Everyone loves Nora, Chris, not so much. He can be a hard ass. 

Hint, when a kid attends our inspection, if more than one they must share, they can keep a Unicorn entertained throughout the inspection. If they both behave, she can go home with the child. Do you know what glitter does to a home? You are aware that Unicorns poop GLITTER. Our office is already a glitter disaster area. The EPA is on the way. 

When asked about this Unicorn movement and if he had lost his mind, Chris's comment was: "Obviously, but at my age life needs to be about having fun. What better way than surrounded by Unicorns and home inspection issues?" 

The Unicorns inquired where Queen Sable was. Last I saw her, in the Tennessee mountains, irritating Chipmunks, likely headed for Dollywood. That Girl gets around. I hear she has a beach trip planned to Realtor Cathy Duke's luxurious ocean front condo in May. Sable and Cathy are tight. She lets The Old Man and GrandPam tag along as her 24/7 servants.
